Home Laser Hair Removal Questions
What are the best home laser hair removal products on the market? I'm currently looking into buying a Rio Salon Laser LAHR hair removal set which retails for approx ~ $120 online - this only removes one hair at a time but appears to be effective for most people. Are there any other similar *laser* products in this price range that offer multiple-hair removal capabilities? If you speak from personal experience, it's all the better! Thanks!
Do Cheap home laser hair removal appliances work? The salon devices cost around $20,000 but you can buy small home appliances for home laser hair removal for around $270. The Epila Laser is the only model i've found (eg epilalaser.com) on ebay, but for so little money for something which "can't be bought in shops" I'm sceptical as to whether or not they work, so I'm looking for some trustworthy reviews or websites with info on whether they're worth getting.
Have you used or know someone who has used a home laser hair removal system? I was looking into getting it done professionally but they are a bit vague on how much it costs on UK sites i've seen and how mnay treatments you will need to get yourself of the hair... Then i saw the home version! £200 for area scans, so not cheap. Anyone tried one or knows someone who has and maybe you have some opinions on its effectiveness and value? Thanks
Do at home laser hair removal products work? I have seen several products on ebay that claim to remove hair forever like going to the dr. and having laser hair removal done. Does anyone know if these products work? If they do it would be much cheaper to spend $300 and own the machine then $1,000 for treatment in one area. Here is a link of one product I found as an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-RIO-SCANNING-LASER-PERMANENT-HAIR-REMOVAL-KIT_W0QQitemZ270174692083QQihZ017QQcategoryZ11840QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
hair removal with home laser? Has anyone tried a home laser hair removal? I've heard about Rio , No!no!, and Tria appliances. I'd like to know if it works or if it is not better than a razor. Thanks a lot!
Home laser hair removal treatments? Has anybody had any experience of using home laser hair removal treatments, and did you find that they worked? What system did you try? I am looking at the Rio Scanning LHR system, which apparently treats up to 20 hairs at a time? How difficult was your system to use, how many treatments did you try and how much regrowth was there (and how soon)?? If you also wouldn't mind saying whether you are black/white etc and your hair colour that would be appreciated.
Rio home laser hair removal? Has anyone used the new Rio laser removal system for home use and if so does it work? Also how long does it take to see results? Thinking of buying one but just want to know if it is any use or will i be freecyclying it next year?

Anybody tried a home laser hair removal kit? I would consider buying one to try and cut down on leg shaving etc. But I suspect it will be slow, laborious and risky. I assume you would have to use goggles. I know It works best on light skin and dark hair (absorption of the light rays by the dark pigment...heat...dead hair follicle...hurrah!) The makers of these machines obviously say they're great. But what you you think? Not looking good this. No-one seems to know. The kits are widely available on ebay. I would have thought somebody must have bought one? Not being funny but no-one with any real knowledge has answered yet just people with knee-jerk reactions to the word "laser". Thanks anyway. What's the big mystery with this method then?
How well do at home hair removal lasers work and are there safety risks? I was looking through ebay and noticed they have started to sell at home hair removal lasers. They claim that they work pretty well(of course they do) but they do not mention where there are health risks involved and how painfull they will be. Can anyone give me some info on these subjects?

Creams or machines or ANYTHING?!! My husband is coming home after being away for 2 years and I am tired of waxing unwanted hair, can anyone help??? Should laser hair removal cause blistering? I have had laser hair removal twice in the past few months. The first time it did not hurt and my face was slighty pink afterwards but not very noticable. The next day I had tiny white blisters on my chin which meant I could not shave, so I stayed home from work for about 3 days until they healed. I did notice a huge difference and was very pleased however I was concerned about the blisters. So I called the clinic and I was told that I probably had some traces of make up on my face and that when the laser hits make up it dries the skin causing blisters. On my second visit, I wore no make up and when she started it really hurt so I asked her to stop, she asked if I was menstruating and I said yes. She said your skin is more sensitive when you have your period and finished making sure I was ok while finishing. After my face looked horrible, bright red with tiny dark purple dots everywhere. Again I had blisters which lasted for about 3 days. Is this normal? I am caucasian with very pale skin and dark brown hair.

hair removal? Hey Has anybody used home laser hair removers? Just seen the Rio Hair Removal System. where "Laser hair removal works by sending a laser beam to the hair follicle with enough energy to destroy the root, without it affecting the surrounding area. " according to their site Does it work doing it yourself, is it any good? Anyone ever used this or similar? Thinking of it for bikini line area etc as i never seem to have time to go to the salon for waxing and shaving or creams don't give the same results!
